cold here how bout you?

It is 8 this morning. has been the last two mornings. sure is a great way to start a lay-off!!!!! I thought that I might get to hunt little, but just too cold for my little girl to go with me. since I am not working, not going to pay for day care. what is it like for everyone else?

COLD i'm not much on these single digit nights and barely 20 degree days, ready for some 30's-40's at least. This kind of weather sure makes you respect those guys from the north that deal with weather like this more often Donald

I can not imagine bringing my 4 year old out, she would like it say for 5 mins then complain. I have mangaged somehow to run the last 4 out of 5 days and or nights, blustery 11 degrees in campton at 730 this am.Cold weather sucks.Never hear of anyone retiring and moving north thats for sure.Had great running last night till the yotes bout got the hounds.Seem to be worse out when its cold , guess its a quick happy meal. I have had better running since the cold snap has hit and snow and dry snow on the ground.

It was 4 degrees when I left the house to hunt Sunday but it warmed up to 18 or so by 3:00 p.m. Needless to say the running wasn't that good until after noon. We still managed to bag 3 and it should have been more but the rabbits made quick dashs to holes and farm piles. We have a heat wave going through right now it is 23 and I just got done plowing so I might turn some dogs loose before I have to go to wrestling practice. Happy hunting to all!

My little girl is also 4 and she is eat up with the dogs. she has been going with me since she was two. just can't make myself take her out with me since it is so cold. I guess I will play Mr. Mom again today.LOL

Here in Pa it's been cold and the wind hasn't stopped blowing since New Year's Day. I run in the cold, but not in howling wind. I feel cooped up already. I get 2-4 foot drifts daily at the garage door. This kinda winter stinks.

Here in the NW portion of North Caorlina it has been getting down into the single digits every night with the wind chill putting us at well below zero. Highs during the day are peaking around 18-20 degrees.........no relief in sight. Long range forecast for the next 10 days says about the same. We had 16" of snow just before x-mas, and about 1/4" of ice just before new years. Nothing but a solid glare of ice everywhere! It sucks big time. Want be able to hunt around my place until Febuary probably. Lucky i have a buddy below the mountain where i can still run on Saturdays. Somebody blow some warm weather this way please

I feel sorry for you guys up north, it was 20 this morning, it will warm up to around 35 to 40 by noon. We had a great run yesterday with light snow on the ground.

Our ARHA PP club will have a FT this sat. and it is suppose to be around 12-13 F sat.

Just caught the weather. suppose to get 4 inch of snow thursday. great just great. it was all gone now its back. And saturday morning temp suppose to be ZERO and who knows what the windchill will bring. I think I am not going to hunt saturday. just stay in. I strongly dislike hunting in snow.

Had to throw wood on at 5am. It was 5 degrees then. Right now we are at 11 degrees.

we are up to 15 at noon. heat wave!!!
I saw the dogs out in the sun just a few minutes ago the pup was aggervating my older jyp. started putting them together for this cold. funny little booger.
