I know there was someone who posted on here awhile back about above ground kennel plans. I think if you enter above ground kennel in the search option you would be able to read only post that contained that subject

I have tried about every method of kenneling dogs and for Beagles I prefer the above ground above all others. When I built my current above ground kennel I used 1x2 wire for the adult dogs and the pens I keep my pups I used metal hog flooring. The hog flooring works great for pups because the spacing is close and its about like walking on a solid surface. The only thing I dont like about it is the waste doesnt fall through well.
On the 1x2 wire the waste falls through great but I have found that the wire doesnt hold up well if you have an active dog on it.
I have heard of some type of material that can be used for flooring that is made of some kind of durable plastic or nylon that I would like to get some more info on if anyone has any. I have a couple pens I would like to try it on if I thought it would hold up better than the wire. Any ifo on this material would be greatly appreciated.

Kyle Crippen, I have just what you need. I sell polyplastic flooring panels. for above ground kennels. It's great stuff. The Panels are 2x3ft with 1"x1.75" openings and can be made up 1"x6" openings. Very sturdy and durable. Will hold a 200lb man standing on it. I also have a kennel plan to fit the flooring, these are wonderful kennels well insulated. Problem is my plans are not back from the draftsman yet should be real soon. The Pannels are 12.95 per panel plus shipping. email me and i will send anyone info and pics. Thanks.

While at Lowe's I saw metal closet shelving that would work great for kennel flooring. They are metal covered in white vinly and come in different sizes and not expensive. What I plan on doing is buying three of them and cut the bottom off with a die grinder. The bottom is where you hang clothes. What I like about them is the cost and they are thicker than wire so not so hard on the dogs feet. I can but three for $33.00 and cut the bottom off and they will fit right in my kennel. I bought my above ground kennel here in Indiana for $150.00 and don't need to replace the flooring but like the closet shelving so much will replace floor anyways.
