I have used them for ALL my dogs for better than 40 years. No Parasites, no walking thru their waste, on ACCIDENTAL breeding from the neighbors German Shepard. :censored: The ONLY drawback that I have seen is if they are left up toooooooooo long ( all Summer) without running they may get sore feet when you start to run them again usually takes a few times out and they are toughened up again. :check:

Thanks,

I used to use concrete slabs and after going to above ground I will never go back, much heathier for the dogs. Just need to keep their nails clipped.

I went above ground about a month ago best thing I did waste falls right down there is no scraping the concrete floor. Its a lot easier and cleaner for me and the hounds.

Above ground on wire is the only way to keep beagles. Safe, clean, secure, and sanitary. Mine has a wooden "deck" right in front of the dog box- this allows the hounds to lie on this when the weather is nice and not have to stand or lie on wire the whole time.
