male to farm out
due to lack of room and 2 new young dogs that need run, i am thinking of "farming out" my male TOM. if someone is looking for a nice gundog for the season or something straight to run young dogs with, he is perfect. whomever gets him can breed him all they want and i will sign off on all litters. tom is almost 8 now and will be best suited to run with medium speed dogs or training younger dogs. he wont stay up with a fast dog anymore and will just break off on his own. he is a very thorough searcher and can solo just fine also and ive personally shot a couple truckloads of rabbits over him. id like to place him somwhere til late spring and then go from there. nothing wrong with him... i just need room for awhile. if you like to shoot and eat rabbits, here is your dog.
toms sire is bramletts black jack
toms dam is coal creek katie (bramletts grizzly bear X bramletts sassie)
call 815-303-2569.

what u mean by farm out
Re: male to farm out
by farm out i mean keep somewhere else for awhile. id still keep the papers in my name but whoever takes him will be free to hunt or breed him as they please. im thinking id want him back late spring but im pretty flexible.

wish you were closer to wheeling wv i have a female looks just like him
Re: male to farm out
I wouldn't mind using him till end of the Mo season. I wouldn't be breeding to him just use him as a gun-dog. How can we get him down to St.louis Mo? He'll be used every weekend under the gun. My pack runs a medium to upper medium speed.
Re: male to farm out
still available... and tom only runs rabbits!
had a couple maybes and 1 probably... but so far he is still here. dont let his age deter you. he is in the shape of a nice 5 year old. i keep my dogs fit and trim... i dont like extra weight. as for farming him out vs selling outright... to the right person, id take a nice gun or cash for him probably. i dont want to let him go but i only keep 2 or 3 dogs now... not like 12 or 14
that i used to keep... so as much as i hate to, he will probably have to go permanently.
