Might be a little bais here, but I'd lay out $500.00 on my male dog... I am truly blessed that I jumped on the chance of this dog from Moddock Kennels. I have put a crap load of time into this dog and he's really impressive. He'll jump 8 of the 10 rabbits in a hunt. I wouldn't hesistate to put him in a jump dog contest.

I done a jump dog trial one time.Had 5 rabbits planted in small cage and your dog had 10 min to find them in a 3 ac pen..once a dog find one timeout is call rabbit remove and then start back.Out of 18 dogs 3 can back finding a rabbit and one found all 5 in 8 min.There s your jump dog.Never done another one.Would love too..How would yall do one?

I will toot my own horn on this one Grhbch Rabbit Ridge Big Tuna ,turn him loose he will find one hell ofa jump dog .I will agree with ohlinger Thirty ought six Blitz is a hard hunter and will find one .

If I had to put money on a dog to go jump me a rabbit I would have to say that Turbo Powered by Turbo is the best i have seen at jumping rabbits. It always seemed like in a field trial when he needed that jump in the last few minutes to win he would go jump a rabbit. I have hunted with this dog for countless hours and at the end of the day when everyone was tired and not really hunting turbo would go jump a rabbit everytime. On days that is was tough to find rabbits he would always be the one to go find one. It wasnt like he just started alot of rabbit races he actually jumped and sight chased more rabbits than any dog i have ever seen.

Turbo powered by Turbo has got my vote an absolute jump dog in all conditions.He is putting those traits in his pups also

This is a great question. There is nothing I like better than a jump dog.

Earl has a great point. I think Turbo Powered by Turbo jumped at least one rabbit in every cast I ever saw him in. If you drew him, you knew you started out 40 in the hole, because he was sure to get at least one jump.

PeeWee Griz was a jumping machine that I hated to hear open because he never barked until the rabbit was jumped.

Jim, Greg, and Adam Hughes old Bernard dog was a hunting piece of work. Back when they were running him, his cast always had running because he would keep you in rabbits the whole hour.

I have to agree with Lamarr on max. He was only dog I've seen that I thought might out jump legs.

I guess I'm lucky to have hunted with some nice jump dog males. Buzz Saw, Reject, Bumper, are some that come to mind. I think my ol Phantom dog is a top jump dog as well....Crabby got to watch him on a bad day of scenting against some very nice hounds. Crabby, we need to go again sometime soon.

I forgot about ol Max. He was a hard hunting hound too. Ran against him some in UKC. Boy was he ugly though, lol.

I know this is about males, but when you say jumpdog I cant help but think of Sosbe's Sisco Sandy. I seen her in one cast and knew she was the real deal , true jump dog .
