The question as put would presume we had seen the hounds run before and would like to run
them again!
I would believe the hounds mentioned by you fellows have not been seen but just are
hounds that you heard of

fulcount it was hounds from the past, but you have seen more of the old big name hounds than probably anyone on this board. which ones stick out as being worthy of the praise in the latter years. Always good to get first hand knowledge.

Thanks,

Fulcount,

The names I mentioned are the ones I never seen before, but have seen lots of grand daughter and and grandsons from these hounds. Even Great Grand pups and Great Great Grand Pups....! so this is why i ask this. You can asnwer this question either way, the hounds you've seen before and want to see again or hounds that you've never seen before. :D

This subject came up a while back and I think Alabama John said " You would be very suprised to find that many of these dogs are not the super dogs you think." I gave this some thought. From the 80's and on back most all AKC dogs were walkie Talkie dogs. Unless you were there to see them run, not sure you can say.

I'd really like to see the Homer Larmay dogs and (maybe especially) the dogs his line came from, dogs like:
Dagwoods Labaan
Trigger II
Mt. Zion Pete

If you ever get a chance to read the Homer Larmay story, do it. Its very good.
