I just scored him on the boone and crockett guide and mine gross scored 168 5/8. If i go with a typical he nets 157 3/8. That is the bottom deer. Still not bad for the same farm.

yall never shoot a deer around here if you smoke in the woods. they know hunters smoke

I used to think that, but I think it's more human scent than the smoke. I don't know about up that way, but alot of people burn trash, brush, etc so they smell smoke alot. I usually don't smoke much when hunting unless I am on the edge of the woods and my scent is blowing out to the field. I was just lucky to be in the right place at the right time.
