Need help with female in heat

I have a female that came in heat 3 weeks ago today. This is her second heat. I noticed today that her vagina, looks like a bad case of hemoroids. I know that it wasnt like that yesterday. It looks pretty bad and the vet wasnt open today. Her first heat was similar, just not as swollen. Does anyone have a clue? Thanks for any info.

Sounds like her uterus is prolapsed from your description. It will need to be tucked back in and stitched by the vet if that is what it is. Anyhow, if you are seeing more than swelling (which should be practically gone after 3 weeks), you need to let a vet look at her anyhow.

Sounds to me like a vaginal prolapse .

Sounds to me like a vaginal prolapse also. They are hereditary and can reoccur if you run her hard, she goes into heat, she has pups, or is straining to go to the bathroom among other things. I'd be careful about breeding her, could cause some serious problems.
