This dog won both rounds under the same judge. I handled 2 dogs in the first round of the grands.

Re: MS ARHA LITTLE PACK STATE HUNT
If anybody thinks Jeff Brown didn't judge the casts fair why don't they just come out and say it. I've seen the guy judge before and I think he will always try to bring back the best dog in that hour. I know he could judge my dog and have one in the cast that he owns and I think he would still bring back the best dog for the hour. There aren't a lot of people I trust that much but I think it's about the dogs with Jeff not who owns the hound. I can see why maybe someone wouldn't think it was right, but if the people involved didn't have any complaints why would anybody else. I'm sure every one there knew when they drew him as a judge what the situation was and they should have said something right then. I know Glen Crane and Jeff both personally and I think they are both above cheating just to win a trial. There are still some houndsmen out there that are fair, period.

Re: MS ARHA LITTLE PACK STATE HUNT
I agree. I would trust Jeff to judge my hound if he was the owner of all the dogs in the cast. He likes to win just like anyone but is the first to compliment a hound and truely likes a good dog.

Thats all Good and Said For Sure, BUT Still With ALL the problems in Trialing Not just NKC But ALL the registry's how Does this Look????
Ask yourself if it was a Person that YOU didnt personally know and you Were to See this Going on And READ about it, All a Person has to Do Is look at the results from the trials and you See this fella Winnin with this Dog and then he JUDGES SAID DOG next trial What Would you think????
He may be the Most Honest person in the World but it is Still UNETHICAL.....
AND how many of you Could HONESTLY judge a Dog YOU owned....Wouldnt you be lookin at this Dog more???
Maybe just maybe Give it a little Slack here and there???
And While your Doing this are you Truly looking at the other hounds???
There is Such a thing as a Code of Ethics just like Common sense I think it has Gone out the Window....
How many Will be asking themselves now did this hound TRULY DESERVE his WINS?????
I Am Sure he Did. but it is actions just such as this that Will bring those Questions to mind.......
Just to be Clear here I NEVER Accused MR Brown of Cheating!!!
just Questioning his Ethics a little and if that make a few mad or upset .....So be it...But just MAYBE it Will make others think!!!!!
Some might look at this the other Way WELL if HE can Do IT So Can WE!!!!!!!
Think about it........

Re: MS ARHA LITTLE PACK STATE HUNT
If I did judge my own dogs in a trial I would be harder on them than I would be on yours or anyone elses. To me there is no gray area when it comes to being honest. A person is either honest or he's crooked. Jeff can and does cover the dogs as well as anyone does, he knows the rules and a hound as well as anyone, from everything I have seen when he was judging he has been 1oo% fair on his calls. I don't know what else a person can do. Another guy I can think of that could judge me and own a dog in the cast is Sammy Wells. I don't owe either of these guys anything. I am just going by what I have witnessed. The tall guys from Michigan, I can't think of their names but they are really good judges. I don't mean to say that a lot of other people that judge aren't good, These are just some that come to mind right now. We are really lucky to have the good ones and I think they really should be appreciated. Like I said before if anyone had a problem with the draw of the judge, I'm sure all they would had to done was mention it to the master of hounds and it would have been resolved before any cast was ran. God bless the fair ones and to hell with the bad ones. And yes I would buy some ocean front property if I found a good deal.

Re: MS ARHA LITTLE PACK STATE HUNT
I don't think I have been to any big hunt where I didn't see someone judge a friend or a fellow club member or someone they had bought dogs from or a combination of all these. It has got to the point we are lucky to get enough judges to get the trials over in the alloted time any way. Is there a better way? I don't have any better ideas. It isn't goingto be long until we aren't going to have to worry about it any way. With the loss of running grounds and cover I don't think my grandson will have a place to run a hound or hunt.

Re: MS ARHA LITTLE PACK STATE HUNT
One of the gray areas in lp, It would not mattered who judged rocky he will beat most, so whats the problem?Riddle me this i have witnessed several people show up at hunts hauling judges, whats the difference? In my eyes not much.Yes jeff has ran glenns dog for a while, a no no in akc and a yes yes in lp.Congrats to glenn and jeff top notch dog, i would be proud to own him. Truly a dog deserving of the hall of fame. And by the way i have also seen when owners dont bring the judges they seem to go out first round.Hmmmmmmmmmmm.Get em worm.

Re: MS ARHA LITTLE PACK STATE HUNT
well siad mr bobby and mapel vally i was the master of hounds at this hunt we ran the open fineals / champion fin / grand champ finals all sunday morning and every cast had two judges and thay were drawn to each cast .
mr brown and mr chris shoopman judged the cast in quistion and if there was a problem ALL the handlers keep it to them selves and i have not heard anyone from the hunt complaine about this cast and glenn has owend this hound for almost 2 years .so every thing was by the book if there is doubt about this cast there was two judges on this and every final cast.
