Finding a Tracking collar

Post by ugly hounds kennels »

Hey guys this is my problem. I lost 2 dogs the other night out hunting. My female had a tracking collar on her. The collar died while we were out hunting. Then the dogs got out of pocket and we couldnt find them. We just picked both dogs up today at a guys house who I had stopped by and given my number to earlier in the week. He said that neither of them had collars on them when they got into the yard. Somebody had taken all the collars off both dogs. My female had a shock collar, tracking collar, and regular collar and the other dog had a regular collar. All were missing. My question is is there anyway that Garmin could track the collar using the satellites? Whoever took them would have to charge the collar, but if they did I wonder if Garmin could track it down for me. Just wondering, any information would be helpful. I dont know much about this new gadgets so I could use some help. Thanks again, Ed
