What shotgun u perfer?

Im looking to buy a new shotgun to rabbit hunt with this year and I was just wondering what yall perfered?---My limit on price is somewhere around $400 and below and wanting a 20Ga. of course

I like my Remington 870 Express pump. Doesn't cost alot-interchangeable choke tubes. Real dependable. Since it's not a hi-fi gun, you can carry it through the thick & nasty stuff, & it don't matter if it gets scratched & beat up.
Mine is a youth model, so it's smaller & lightweight. Another one might be a New Englands Firearm in a single shot. A lotta times, that's all you need. Cheap too. Just a thought.

Haven't shopped for one in a while, I picked up a used Beretta 310 with fixed IC choke about 5 yrs ago. Lightweight auto and looks good to. But check out Charles Daly, Condor, of course the Rem 870 but cruise the gun stores you might find surprise.

I would go with either a Remington 870 or a Mossberg 500. Both very good guns for the money. I have a Mossberg 500 but like the Remington 870 better. The reason I went with the Mossberg is becaouse I'm a lefty and I like the thumb saftey.

i WILL NOT leave home without my remington 100 LT-20 special field. lightweight, compact and comes up fast and very balanced.... i have 3 of them in the gun safe and if i run across anymore i will buy them too. i love them that much.... ive got two boys and when the time comes ill have them hunting with them too...

I really like side by sides for rabbit hunting. Very lightweight and easy to carry when broke down.

I Have A 28 Gauge Charles Daly With A Synthetic Siock.Very Light Has Choke Tubes Got It At Walmart.Had To Order Gun $315.00.

for shotguns i use a 870 and you cant beat it. but as chapko said i really enjoy carrying my ruger mark III .22 pistol. it is fun and challenging. and it is also pretty inexpensive to shoot.

I found a side by side 20Ga. Stoeger Uplander at dick's sporting goods for $349.95....does anyone own one of these or know much about them? Very nice look gun I thought

One of my hunting buddies has an over and under by Stoeger and it is real nice. Light weight and reasonably priced. I would own one for sure.
It shoots good as well, he kills rabbits with it and he is almost as bad at shooting as I am! LOL.

You cant go wrong with the Stoeger Condor or Uplander for the money, they both are great guns however I strongly prefer the Stoeger Condor of the 2, And the 16 Guage or the 410 is about the best you can get from Stoeger. Otherwise I would strongly recomend the Winnchester 1300, Remington 870 and last but not least the Mossberg 500, you cant go wrong with any of the above mentioned guns. I most always hunt rabbit with a 16 gauge or a 410, the 410 is a fun little gun during rabbit season and it will also make you a better shot.
