A Tribute to my Friend

Post by AV Spencer »

Craid Tull was my buddy. He and I ran dogs many hours together. He helped me move and I helped him move. Our families had gotten together for high school basketball, bond fires, and bowling. Craig was a great houndsman, yes, but make no mistake, he was a real good dude. He could take a ribbing and give it out. He could tell a one minute story and easily turn it into 5 or 10 minutes worth of good listening. I will miss you Craig Tull.
You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers for a long time.

Your Pal, AV Spencer

Craig was a great friend of mine, I have traveled, trialed and ran hounds with him for many, many years, as alot of us have. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

Man I'm so sorry to hear this. I first met Craig at a Zone hunt for the world. He was a pleasure to have on the cast and without a doubt knew his hounds. The man was a true joy to be around and I know he will be missed. My prayers are with his family.

I was totally stunned last night when I heard the news!
Craig was a great person to be on a cast with. He had an awesome sense of humor and could have the entire cast of handlers laughing so hard that you couldn't hear the dogs running.
Craig always gave his all when judging with a total disregard for his body. HE WILL BE MISSED!!!!

What a loss to the beagle world.I knew Craig for about 14 years back when I went to my first field trail. We talked a lot about dogs, dog food, had some laughs,etc..I also learned that he was also a Mason. He did a lot of judging over the years at the Erie Canal Beagle Club when we had hunts. He knew a lot about this sport.

My prayers go out to the Tull family.

Have not known Craig as long as most on here. The thing that struck me the most about him was that he didnt pull any punches, he would always tell you like it was. If you had a question, he was willing to answer it if he knew the answer or at least give you his opinion. This was a man that will be missed by many...not only in the beagling community but everywhere. Just wish we would run out of work today so I could get home in time to show my respect to him this evening.
