my female will not come in heat

I have a female that was bred when she was 8 months old after selling the pups she came back in. 6 months later she was back in but then the next time she was due she didn't come in. it has been one year now since she last came in. All the pups used for hunting made good dogs and i was wanting to breed her again do you think she will ever come back in? She is 2 now.

I have a bitch that only comes into heat 1 time a year. some come in every 2 months, every 6 months, and on rare accasions not at all.

i have an awesome tri bitch that is 12yrs. old and never heated after her first year doc says there is nothing you can do about it

Many times, a bitch that's off her season, can be pulled in, when kept in close quarters with a bitch that's in season. The inseason bitch will tend to pull others into season also, untill all bitches that are kept together will cycle close to the same time...Good luck with your hound...Patch
