How many days do everyone have until rabbit season

I was just reading all the topics and decided to start my own to get everyone pumped for rabbit season. So here it goes I would like to know if anyone already started harvesting rabbit already I know Kansas season is year round but I don't start killing them until the first frost. How about everyone else So lets here it.

When do your season start and when do you start killing for the freezer

season starts nov. 1st. here in wv. the legal one.

Season opens here in Michigan on September 15th but I usually dont start shooting them until after a couple of frosts too...

season starts Oct 1st here. Don't really start hammering on them till a good frost. I may kill one for a couple new pups we have though that'll help with gun-breaking too.

Running / Training opens on WMA's 09/01 but gunning not legal until 10/01 here.

Like everyone else... wait for some good frosts before harvesting any for eatin.

Nov here in WV . We dont shoot many anyhow shot 2 all last seaon LOL. We run all year long much rather just see and hear the dogs run em.

it opened in ca July 1st. Too hot to run dogs unless maybe you go up into the mountains.

october 1 on public ground nov 10 on private here in north east indiana. i run them 5 days a week all year so far

It starts the last Sat in Sept. I have an 8 year old that just can't wait to smoke his first hare in front of his pup.
