A general forum for the discussion of hunting with beagles, guns, clothing and other equipment and just talking dawgs! (Tall tales on hunting allowed, but remember, first liar doesn't stand a chance)
first part was 27 little bitches, other parts were 38 big ones.
i score it ,if you stay down for 5 hours like that, you accomplished something.
i really dont want to explain how they score,it will probably just start arguements between the spo and large pack guys lmao
i beleive so.i have no champions.we just do this for dog exercise, lol
to be a large pack champ,he/she would need three wins in this style format.this hunt is just derbies, although some may already have placed/won at liscensed trails.its not for the guys who want clean/line painted rabbits.it for the guys who want a lotta dog that run this way for 5-8 hours-nonstop.

Yeah man i am with ya on that.It still amazes me to see that many dogs on the ground and doing reasonaby well running it, my computer does not have sound but bet they sound sweet.Heres my question for you boys, When you drop dogs in large pack how long after you drop them do you start judging them? Just thinking it would seem a hour or more before dogs would settle. Anderson, i am headed to ny on sept 16 to a trail somewhere in that country then on towards canada, maybe i will wave when we pass by.All i know is destination is anorodak mtns, spelt wrong
When the moment of truth arrives, the point of preparation has passed.

you need to get sound jimmy. You're missing out man. It sounded like 38 beagles pounding the ground echoing thru out the woods and hills. It was freaking awesome.
Go to k-mart or wal-mart wal-greens whatever any store. get a set of earbuds they are cheap. Then plug it into the computer. the back of it where you see the symbol for sound. Plug it in there. Think their are 3 jacks back there. just try every one of them till you get sound. Thats how i listen to stuff here at work. Noone can hear it but me thru my ear buds. Works for me.
I've never seen that many on the ground at one time before. Heck I wouldn't know who to go to and ask if they'd want to do that. We'd have to round out 5 guys and they'd have to bring every single one of their dogs. Be a nightmare to handle a pack like that with very few guys hunting the pack. I'd give it a try though.
Missouri rabbits running for their lives!!!!

The most amazing part is they are all 2 yrs old to the latest. It's not uncommon to hear 30+ dogs pounding a hare but it's even better when they're youngsters
