Young Pups....How do you guys go about basic training

I dont know why it was holding so tight ive never walked up on one that close i almost wanted to stick odie on the scent and see what he would do but i didnt have his collar on him since dad was with me

if it were me I wouldn't try stickin him on deer on purpose.

and while out rabbit hunting I've walked up on countless deer. Get real close to them. they don't run off even though dogs and people shooting at rabbits and all that don't even phase them. But come deer season I don't see a one

that would be sweet and you hate deer because you cant hit them like you can a rabbit

going on 6yrs and no deer killed yet. yep thats right. had the chances but nope can't hit them. Last season I spent a grand on a nice rifle that didn't help.
