I have read a couple of posts and thought that I would ask what most of you use regularly on your dogs to keep them healthy such as:
1. Worms- I have read a couple of posts about ivomectin (spelling?). What all does this work for?
2. Flea, tick and mosquitoes ohh my. I live in Wisconsin so this is a biggy. I average pulling 20 30 ticks daily!
3. Supplements or vitamins? Just wandering?
4. Any regular ear maintenence?
5. Anything else you recomend to do regularly that will help keep my hound healthy and happy??
I no I need to buy the little black book !!!!
What do you use?

Re: What do you use?
1. Drontal plus or the generic form of the same.
2. Purple cattle tags and/or Sevin dust from Wal-Mart or Lowe's.
3. Pride Pro feed, 21/17 in summer, 26/20 when hunting season comes in, no supplements.
4. Sweet oil if they show signs of mites. If that doesn't work, over the counter meds.
5. Plenty of shade and fresh, clean water this time of year, dry bedding and two young'uns to show them lots of attention when it's too hot to run 'em.
