Michigan dog training season-earlier start date

Not sure how many Michiganders already knew this, but here is a link to the new ruling that sets a new start date for MI dog training season (1 week earlier).

Looks like the new season dates will be July 8-April 15, however, according to this letter, the new ruling is not effective until July 10, 2009.

Dave you are right I was over at Jim Wales yesterday and he was involved with the bear hunters and luckily it opened another week for all of us. Thats why I joined the Michigan united gundog federation to support good people who fight for our rights to run dogs.
