Rebuilt my old above ground.....Pics

Post by Joeyman »

Over the weekend I rebuilt my old above ground kennel. Tore it all apart and rebuilt it put some fresh paint and wire. Looks alot better. I reused what I could. I didn't completely tear it apart but it did come apart and put back together. I also used alot of scrap I had left over from my last project. Didn't really cost me a thing but my time. I even had the left over paint too.

Has brand new floor. 2x2 deck balisters was used and also the wider boards. All were spaced 1.5 apart.

Chew proofing on all doors. 1/2x1/2 alum angle

It was a fun Project and the kennel will be getting a new home. Will be perfect for one dog or used as a whelper.

Thanks for looking

Sat I worked on it from 8:30am and didn't get done till almost 10pm. Finished up sunday morning by 1pm

thanks.......I'd be more than willing to build you one but I live pretty far away from you. Its just time consuming is all. Build a little at a time as much as you can get done in a day, and soon it will be done with a dog in it.

I hauled this one down to a friends house with some help from a few friends. It fit in the back of a Regular Pick Up truck. Took it down set it in place and it's good to go.

Even got a compliment from one of the nieghbors ridin a 4wheeler down a gravel rd. He stopped us told us thats a nice kennel. I said you wanna take a look at it. We pulled over he looked it over. He had never seen a floor like that before. He liked it. We talked to him bout deer hunting a bit and we left so we could drop it off.
