has anyone seen or know of this dog she was run in arha trials and was wanting to get a little info thanks for ya help mark

owned by bob williams in Oh or Pa. She won hound of the year. The only dog to do it by ghost trailing. it was too late when everyone found out, she had already gotten the points. that's why she disappeared. nobody wanted pups out of her. i also know of and have seen several other boldstroke dogs that ghost trailed. elsie and deadeye sally were the best gil ever had. if he could reproduce them he would never have sold out. oh, but did you hear, he didn't sell everything. he'll be back after he takes a break.

Old Timer, since you know so much ,
why don`t you tell us your name for starters instead of hiding behind a user name.
Second why don`t you tell us how many times the Boldstrokes have BEAT you and you haven`t got over it yet.
Third Why don`t you tell us what Gill has left? Have you been there and seen them? I have and there ain`t nothing left but one dog.
If you think you got something that can beat the Boldstroke line come on down to North Carolina and run.

Gill is atking a break thats for sure and he might make a return to the beagle world and if he does he will get some of the same blood that has been kicking your butt for years Old Timer.. Paul

now let me ask u a question oldtimer
if she won hound of the year and everyone seen her and she was exposed on the circuit how did they not see a thing like ghost trailing and doesnt it take awhile to be named hound of the year and i think she has won a few state hunts as well by this so called ghost trailing u say. and the dogs of ellsie and salley are great dogs and these are not the only ones from this line neither there are lots of rabbit running dogs from this line and they are great ones also and as far as gill is concerned maybe he cant reproduce salley and ellsie that is impossible but this isnt the reason for selling the hounds that goes to show just how much u really know as far as he hasnt sold all no he hasnt he has a gyp that is from my front page bitch as u probably already know sinse u know so much

and one more thing if GILL DAVIS wants to get some of the most consistant rabbit dogs around then all he has to do is call me like he does alot so put that into youre notes of knowledge if u can rem from being an oldtimer
ok with that being said when and if u can grow some balls and say ya name and want to run ill be glad to put some BOLDSTROKES on the ground but im sure u wont like the whipping any more now than u did when nipper beat ya u wanna know why

i have never seen a boldstroke dog before that i know of and i was just wondering what formate they usually run in. in what areas do they excell is it speed, line control, check area, or hunt and search. thanks for any info

i can tell ya from what i have and have seen some have good speed on the med fast to fast type and some are a tad slower like medium i have about three that are great check dogs and some that have a bit more tighter line control than others all i have hear and have seen have great hunt and searching and can jump ya a rabbit i dont get in the briars no more i hope this helps ya mark

i forgot to answer ya first question they have finished in all three reg lp fc and hbch so they are being run in akc ukc nkc/arha just take ya pick and they have done ok in like i said i hope this helps ya have a good day mark

oldtimer or whom ever u are was u the one that handled salley and ellsie and like them so much that u fell in love with the hounds that u came to gills house one afternoon and the hounds was in the field running and its all music to ya ears as i know the music also
u sat there and offered to buy the boldstrokes of the time salley and ellsie that u handled and when u was declined the offer u got upset and left and quit handling hounds of the boldstroke line and started bad mouthing them and u do not trial no more in arha or got kicked out and is now trialing in akc and if im thinking right u go by the name BOBBY DAWES if so its ok with me cause u havent seen the boldstrokes of today i agree all is not great dogs but u have that in everyline and maybe u have seen a few i dont know but i really dont think that this nipper was ghost trailing like u say if so there was a whole lot of judges that seen the same ghost wouldnt u think . a whole year of ghost come on now lets get reasonable here
see i know a little bit about a little bit but i know when someone is trying to stir the pot so i hope u have a great time and ill just keep running these ghost busting rabbit dogs have a good day and thanks for the info and u can call me we will get up and run sometime have a good one mark

thanks for the info mark and i will keep an eye out for boldstroke in the ukc and arha lp & pp i must have missed them before
do you know of any in ohio or the surronding states because i usually attend a field trial every weekend i manly run ukc but go to several arha hunts also
