I've never met Joeyman, but i've followed his posts from the board on Rabbit Hunting Online. He does seem to be a responsible hunter and is very passionate about the sport. I don't normally post over her because it seems like somebody always has some kind of rude a** comment to make........looks like things haven't changed much. There may be a few who have a problem with a guy displaying his kills, but i doubt most of us do, i mean most of us are rabbit hunters aren't we? What kind of statement was that to make anyway? Keep the photos coming, Joey, i for one like 'em!

I dont find my comment 'Rude"
I just find it hard to believe that a person can "use" that many rabbits
Maybe the rabbits are a plague over there where he hunts
I guess that since becoming a little older I look at a dead rabbit as one we can no
longer run and enjoy the hound music and kill only what we can eat
and not looking to provide the whole community with rabbits
This is not trying to start a fight as we are all entitled to our opinions and that
is mine, you are entitled to yours!!

For my family I usually need at least 5 rabbits for a meal, so if I shoot a 100 rabbits a year that is only 20 meals a year. I spend, as I am sure people like Joeyman does, alot of time and work each year finding new places to hunt, so that I don't kill too many out of one spot. Some places you can kill alot out of and some places you only kill a few. I agree that we shouldn't wipe an area out of rabbits and I think most people (especially with dogs) don't want to do this. They want to hunt there next year and be able to kill just as many.

I just find it too funny that people always have to find the negative in things. I am not sure if you are aware of this new invention called a "freezer". It is something that we can place meat and other items that we plan to use at a later date. So hypothetically a person could.......now here is the important part......clean them rabbits and fry what they want and freeze the rest to be ate at a later date. Like possibly in June when season is out and he has a craving for fried rabbit. In addition I remember a post that Joey had in which his work place had a pitch in and he brought in rabbit while others brought in other game. As you are entitled to your opinion he is entitled to his choices. So until you find his back yard littered with wasted game get off his back. Some people dont even post their results (which sucks for those of us who like seeing pics) because there is always someone waiting to judge them and bash them. Unreal !!!

Just because you choose not to harvest many rabbits that doesn't mean that others shouldn't. The thing that is rude is you calling Joey out even though this post had nothing to do with lack of game it had to do with one guy getting ticked off for being told not to trespass. How do you relate that to Joey sharing some pics of his hunts?

On a side note I love seeing the hunting pictures on the site, keep in mind that the beagle is a hunting breed that is used to pursue game until it's in the bag.

Joey man
if the landowners you hunt on could see the amount of rabbits you show on your tailgate
taken off their property i wouldn't blame them a bit for kicken your ass off their property
lmao.......now that's funny right there. The landowners are the ones that invite me cause they know I have dogs. And I let them do most the shooting off my dogs. Stupid people like you that like to assume crap about others what makes this board go down the drain. Just another nobody who knows nothing and likes to assume on people.

Alot of the private farms I've hunted the landowners don't have dogs so they come find me.

go look at my pics on my website. I'm standing with the landowners. Seems like they all were having fun.

See the pic in My Sig. That was a 440 ac farm. We didn't even cover the whole place. I was invited back before the hunt was over. Those guys had so much fun. Never hunted over dogs before. Ohhh and if you are assuming again. We only hunted the farm once.

thanks to all that enjoy looking at my pics and videos I put up.

can't believe you remembered that one. hahaha yeah that's true. I brought in 8 rabbits for a big fry we had going on. They were frying up turkeys so I brought in 8 rabbits all cut up. Had to just dip in egg wash and flour. They turned out great and all of the rabbit was gone. I only got one tiny piece just to taste.

Man Joey everyone is always trying to bash ya!haha I agree with the fact of if you have the places and rabbits kill as many as your going to eat whether some people only eat 20 a year or 200! I have to say I am on joey man side on this! He has the spots and knows how to show the landowners a good time!
Suzy and Rach are going to fill my bag limits this year... as soon as I learn how to shoot!

I for one am a big fan of Joey's pictures and stories. I also like his videos to that he shares with us, how about all the moaners and big babies stop whining so much, before Joey decides not to put up any more stories, pics, and videos. Also last year two years ago, I seen a lot of haters on here getting upset with Jon Cornett and his pictures, it came to my mind that them guys and anyone else that gets upset is just about even with PETA. Yeah I said it!!!!!!!

Post all those pics and videos of your dogs pursuing peter cotton tail and snow shoe sammy.

P.S. I do not kill a bunch of rabbits because I am the only member of my family that likes to eat them and plus I am the only one that goes hunting and will skin them. Dad just likes to hear the hounds go and so do I. I only killed 7 rabbits over my young dog, but he got plenty of expereince running some rabbits. I have gotten to run some rabbits this past season that runs really big and I do not want to kill those kind of rabbits, cause those bunnies gives young dogs an education.

But by all means love to see some pics, hear a few stories and see some videos.

I won't quit posting my hunting pics guys. As long as I have a camera with me I'm good to go.

Some people have to be total a**holes. I hope they enjoy living their lives like that. They can say all they want about how I hunt. I've been doing this for awhile now and seems to be working alright for me.

This coming season I'm going to try and put on a disabled/youth hunt. Its already in working progress. I'm there to lend my dogs. I have some friends that are going to help set this up. Should be a nice time. Just going to bring the camera and be the ultimate dog handler. and of course my dogs.....

Some are going to bring 4 wheelers or those buggies for the disabled hunters to ride on. These guys have put on quail hunts before with the disabled hunters on the back of a pick up truck drivin thru fields. So the same thing but with rabbit dogs.

If it all goes as planned I'll have some nice pics to post with a story to go along with it.

I was also recently invited to Mich for a snowshoe hare hunt in Hillman Mich. They own a big bunch of property with thickets filled of snowshoes. If I can get Done Gone Beagles to e-mail me back about this trip we'll be headed up north for some action if he wants to go with me. PS get the RV ready for the trip Mike.....lol. I hope that hunt pans out too. Never been hare hunting before.

hopefully you guys will have a nice day otuside with some people who doesn't get to do this often. Always a great way to introduce the sport of beagling and the outdoors to some that don't get out because of medical issues.

I think it will most likely happen. I can't wait. I think it will be a blast. I hope they can get a couple shots off and bag a bunny or two. Try and set them up in good spots for a shot.

There is a man in charge of this kind of stuff. Some friends of mine are helping me out with this. they know the guy and were apart of the bird hunt that was put on by that guy. We still have plenty of time to set this up. So once we get closer to rabbit season I'll know more
