Did I hurt my puppy?

I bought my 1st pup( I usually buy started older dogs) a month ago. I was only feeding her a cup to a cup and a 1/2 of puppy chow a day. Well the breeder is letting me use his starting pen and when he saw her, he was shocked at how small she was, she was 1 of the bigger dogs in the litter. He still has 2 littermates of hers and they are monsters compared to her. He lets his pups eat as much as they want. and suggests I do also. My question is, did I hurt her chances of becoming a bigger dog? Or is there still time? She is 15wks old.

I also let pups eat as much as they want but I doubt you hurt her too much. Most pups won't eat much more than a 1 1/2 a day anyway, you are feeding at least 2 times a day with puppy?

2 times a day,half to 3/4 cup in morning and afternoon half to 3/4 cup

I hope I didnt stunt her growth or hurt her at all.

Swampbuck, i've had several pups that were a lot smaller than their littermates....i agree let 'em eat all they want, but i wouldn't worry about it, i think they all grow at different rates. I had one that i thought would never get bigger, but at about 10 mos. old he finally caught up!

I don't believe you hurt it either Swamp....She/he maynot eat no more than 1.5 cups a day, but its a growing pup and needs to be able to eat all it wants when it wants!!!! JMO
