I also fed Hi Standard for a few years and had real good results. I also saw a difference in the feed quality, dogs looks, stool and performance a few months ago. I switched to Ultra and really like it. Its less cost, less stool and the dogs looks nice on it. It has the wet oily feeling to the touch like Hi Standard used to. Too bad feed companies make a great product for awhile to get people using it then change the formula to make more money from it. I'd recommand for anyone to try Ultra.

I called Mr. wade he has a ssured me that his feed has not changed. They had gotten some meal from a new supplier and the color was different and they have went back to the original supplier. He also said that the ingredients have not changed and will not change as far as the bags go he used some old bags to get him through on a bag shortage. MR wade has given me his word that his feed has not changed and will not change he is happy with the feed and he wants his customers to be happy with the feed. I will be giving Mr wade a chance to prove to me his word is good and that he stands behind his product. Thanks Don Nash

How can Mr. Wade say the ingredients on the HI STANDARD 26-18 PREMIUM PERFORMANCE food has not been changed? When it clearley states two different formulas on two different bags of supposedely the same food. Even the calorie statement on the the two bags is different. Who is kidding who, It is time for a honest answear. :-o :-o :-o :-o

Good luck with that one....I hope they change back, or have changed back...because they HAVE changed something. My dogs are acting and looking good since the last two new bags...as stated before...they are on watch with me. Total BS if they sold out and cheaped out.......

All I can say is give the man a call tell him what you want and what you are seeing or not seeing in his product thats what I did he gave me his word that the feed will be the same as it has been the new batches that are out know should be back to the same feed.

I also feed Hi Standard dog food, I think for as long as they have made it. I also have the same problems as everyone else has had.Just the same as Don Nash did, I called and talked to Wade, and he also was upset about the food. So he went to the manufactor and found the problem. I got a skid monday,3/30/09, and it lookes like the problem is fixed. The dog food now looks the same as it used too. I would say it is back the same as it was before.
I trust Wade and I think he is honest. This is his livelyhood and he dosen't want to lose his customers. We all know this is the best food for the money on the market.
Give him a call 866-357-3335.

18.50 for the blue bag. After feeding Purina Dog Chow I am very happy with the stool and not having to deal with the smell Purina gives.
