Hey Bev, these are 2 Ozzie males. The pup on the top is “Sport”. As you know, Mike Oszust bred his Yellow Creek female to Ozzie. His mother is "close related" to my Dingus male on Dingus' mother side. I have a female litter mate to him. This is an older picture of him, he is now 7 months old and Mike has him already circling rabbits on his own. The pup on the bottom is “Ranger”, he belongs to my brother Joe and I, of course Joe will tell you that he is all his, but he's mistaken. But if I go to take him, I think I might have a better chance of digging up Charlton Heston and prying his gun out of his hands. Ozzie as you know has 9 crosses of Dingus MacRae crossed to Gay Baker females. The female “Roxie”, that is the mother to this pup on the bottom has 13 crosses of Dingus MacRae crossed to Indian Hill Majer dogs. She is "half sister" to my Dingus male on their father side. We took them for a walk the other day and came to a ditch. We saw the other dogs wade in and swim across, but when those Ozzie pups got there they walked on across. Now we were at a distance, so they may have had a log or two to walk on that was an inch below water, but from our view, they walk on water . Time will tell. Bev, you will have a good selection of Ozzie pups to pick from, when ever your ready. I just thought I would show these off a little.

Ohhh, they are gorgeous! Those crosses are going to keep the good conformation going, that's an added bonus for sure! I would have a hard time choosing between the two - they would both have to come stay with me. (I feel like a grandma all over again (lol).) Thanks for posting those. Can you tell yet how tall they will end up?

Sport, the dog on top is out of a female that is about 13 ½. He looks as if he is going to be about an even 14. The littermate sister to him, which I own is going to be a little bigger, about 14 ½. That female runs at about the same “speed” as Ozzie with really good line. Ranger {the pup on the bottom} is out of Roxie who is a full 15”. Her speed and drive is what you describe your dog Clem’s to be. I would say he is going to be a full 15”. Roxie belongs to my brother Joe and Joe likes his dogs to have one gear, that would be full throttle. If his dogs could sprout wings at their shoulder blades, Joe would be fine with that. The pups I am anticipating on is Ozzie and my dog Dingus’ sister, Donna. She is also close to a full 15”.

I can only speak for MY PUP Ranger. Looks like he will be 15in and fast.

This is a picture of Ranger taken March 18, just a couple of days ago. He is now 4 months old. The picture at the beginning of this thread was him at 2 months. He is "built" just like Ozzie, strait back, strait legs, blocky head, big chest, nice ears, is as long as he is tall {perfect square}, plenty of muscle tone and shares Ozzie's mannerisms. This pup’s mother “Roxie” is no slouch either, we couldn’t have borrowed, leased or bought a more perfect female to breed Ozzie to, these two complimented each other very well. Those of you meeting up to run on the 4th of April will get to see her. Ranger is already interested in rabbits. We have high hopes for him.

He is a FINE looking hound. thank you for posting the picture.
I cant wait till i get some Lane Line pups.
i just bought some ground behind us that will make an awsome pup starter pen. one side is full of honey suckle
the other is all briered uppretty thick. it has a small creek running thru it. it's going to be about an acre or so fenced in .they will have to use thier nose its to thick to site chase. except for the part that i mow which is not that much an i just put out a bunch of white clover back there. an threw some salt block's back there also. i hope to have it finished by winter
that will work for pups won't it?
jim i will shoot you some pic's of what it looks like in a few days.
