roy if you have an mp player or a compact cd player you can get a little amplifier at radio shack for 15 bucks,,,,i have this system rigged up,,,,,,,its costed me about 60 bucks,,,,,,,,,,,you can go online and download the sounds to your mp3 player,,,,,,and its load,,,,,,,if you need it louder go to any harbor frieght store and buy a 10 dollar megaphone this is about a 1/8 mile unit,,,,,,,,,,,,,hope this helps,,,,,,,
