Is this a myth?

Post by bluehound1 »

I like to put cedar chips in my dog boxes. It seems to keep the fleas down and the dogs smell alot better. I have heard a few people say tat cedar chps can ruin a dogs nose. I never did understand that. Has any of you heard of this or is it just a myth of tall tale?

I would guess it's a myth but it is possible that certain dogs are allergic to the cedar.

I sure hope its a myth I've been using it to ward off mites in my transport kennel boxes.
