Getting ready to go out of town with two Pine MT littermates. Headed to a new "hotspot" with NC State LP CH Freebird and her littermate brother Comanche AKA "Cheif". We also will have a load of other T Rex and Chester in some young ones that are making the grade. Hitting these black berry and multiflora thickets you have got to have dogs with no fear. No skirting is allowed. Got to go now. Hunt em up !!

Sirus McGee stuff has great hunt. Old Mt State blood are some of the hardest hunting hounds I've seen. Kingwood blood has good hunt and search. Dingus bred hounds have a ton of hunt. These lines don't just hunt hard and flashy they will produce. These are just the lines I like but I'm sure there are more out there that hunt hard. I've been haveing great results breeding Kingwood and Mt State hounds for a few years,been getting some young hounds that are as close to being a complete hound as I have seen personaly with good to strong noses.

I normally dont blow my own hounds horn on these topics, but there have been enough guys on here see my Dutch dog hunt that its not just someone blowing smoke, and he is throwing the hunt into his pups. There a 3 dams lined up in the next month or two to be bred to Dutch that are very well bred. As one old timer put it "Dutch hunts angry" from the time you put him on the ground till you pick him up.

VA BEAGLE MAN WROTE:::

I would suggest taking a look at Sundown Kennel these guys are producing some awsome hunting hounds. I have several hounds straight out of there kennel and they tare the brush up. I would also talk to Mt View Kennel Bill Ashcraft is producing some great pups I have several from him and they never stop hunting. They live to run a rabbit.

I will agree that papers don't run a rabbit but one thing is for sure you can't hardley sell a pup that is not AKC reg. Papers mean more than most people will ever know!!!! Alot beaglers think they got a good male and female and when they breed they will have great pups not so. Dogs back in the pedigree make up that whole pups pedigree not just the sire and dam. Most reputible breeders put alot of stock in a pedigree because they can look at faults ancestors had so they don't bring those faults back in strong at a breeding. Knowing the pedigrees and UNDERSTANDING them will help you to continue to get the traits you want but one thing is for sure you won't get quality dogs with papers for 100.00. Just becareful of the little behind the barn breeders that just want to have pups to make money not better the breed, or have accidental litters.

I agree with him.Sounds right on to me.See ya soon Mr.Graham.Been gone for awhile but im coming back.problably see ya on the 15th.

Thanks for the compliments fellas, as stated I have nothing too hide with him.I am running to get ready for a few trials,He still runs stronger the longer you stay down.Ran sat several hours with pack of 9 , Come on down and run with me.Bring ur best and let him show ya in person what he is all about. I screwed up and sold a nice male out of him. At this time i dont have anything but a niece of him and she is showing great promise.Also got a male pup just too early to tell what i got.
