My sons first trip

Post by jfields »

My son is 4 years old and I took him on his first trip Sunday. First pic is him waiting on the rabbit to come out in the road. He had his Red Rider BB gun. The rabbits didnt stand a chance. Second pic is me teaching him about the safety on the gun.
Third pic is 2 pups also getting a little experience. He had a blast and ask when he could go back. got another one hooked , I hope.

My son is five and I have been takeing him for two years he loves it. My dad started me about the same age with beagles and 35 years later we are still at it, the only difference now my son joins us. Good luck to you and your son you are creating a bond that can't be broken. Here is a pic with my sons first rabit a couple of weeks ago with as red rider. The dogs put the rabit up a hollow tree, but there was a hole in the side were we could see the rabit (perfect for the bb gun).

Those are some great pictures :!: I have a daughter that is 8, and a son that is 4, and i take them every chance i get. They love it. There is so much for them to learn from being outdoors, and yes, you do create a bond that cannot be broken :D :D :D We need more of this across America. If parents would turn off the TV's, and put away the handheld games this world would be a much better place. Just my $0.02.

Keep taking them, be safe, and God bless.

The more people I meet, the more I love my dogs!

Nice pictures. It is good to see a Dad out with his Son on a rabbit hunt. I have two children myself, and love spending time with them in the wild. Good job!

Great pictures, the pictures with the kids are priceless. They really get special a few years down the road, when the little guy isn't so little anymore :!:
