I am looking for a deer dog so that I can pressure break some young hounds that I have, If you have a dog that has a seriuos problem and you think it is unbreakable and you are looking to get rid of it please contact me or pm me as soon as possible the weather is breaking and I have some trials coming up that I am wanting to go to and I need to break some dogs thanks Eric

i run with some guys that have some purty goodins. will check with them dont know how cheap they will be.

Deer hunting with dogs is pretty common and still legal in the south and in Canada. A good deer dog will not push a deer too hard. That's why many deer hunters prefer beagles as opposed to the big hounds. The best will track a deer up, run for a couple of hours and come in. Repeat in the afternoon. Hang in there, Riddlerun. We have a variety of beaglers that visit this board, not just strictly rabbit hunters. Perhaps someone has an older deer dog that can't hang for the long hunts anymore, but needs a good home and would take a deer out long enough to pull yours along for their lesson. I'm guessing they would PM you, so check back.

Sometimes i wish i had my Trigger dog back. I could have made a fortune just leasing him out, lol. He could smoke a rabbit, but he couldn't turn down a deer, either. He'd run them for about 200 yds and come back pleased as punch with himself. If I'd only known then what I know now.
