does anyone no how big of a dog box i need and how big the runs should be im wanting to hold 8 dogs and would like it to be one single unit with dividers

3' X 8' w/ a 2'X 3' dogbox on the back is as small as I've seen.
If you build a platform 10' X 12' , and divide it into 4, 3' X 8' pens, you'll have 2' left on the back to sit you doghouse.

i have a 6 run above ground kennell my runs are like patch said 3 X 8 but my dog boxes set inside of the runs my dogs seem to have plenty of room to romp around my dogs lay outside on the wire flooring most of the time if ya gonna use wire flooring be shure to get coated wire i didnt use the coated now i need to replace my flooring in most of my runs i got some patched up now with short pieces of ply wood jb

what size wire do you use i seen some half by half inch look like itd be easy on the dogs feet but hard to clean

use wood slots. see page two of this section. I have pics of a kennel I built early last year.
