I used to have a littermate female to your dog. I bred her to Tipton's NG Shamrock here in Missouri. He is Maravic's Blue Berry Bred. She had 11 pups and raised 9 of them. Two of the pups never got a chance to hunt as they went to a couple of kids as pets. The seven that got the chance all made above average rabbit dogs. That same cross has just been made again, and the pups are almost ready to start. Jake and Pop Moore's Buster Stud dog is one of them from the first litter that I rasied. They will vouch for the ability of the dogs from that litter. So don't overlook Shamrock as a choice.

VERY nice dog I watched him run not to long ago. I'm waiting on one of my females to come in heat and that breeding will be on. A few of them pups might have no tails just like their daddy. I'm keeping one the rest forsale. Will be a nice addition to the Joeyman pack for sure.

I hope to see ringo run again sometime real soon If I can get yellowdog to come hunt with me.

I own two females that are Turbo / Blue Ninja breeding on their top side.One is out of Reggie and Syris McGee blood and the other is Turbo Charged Thunder Blue [Reggie's littermate ] and Branko's Sassy Susie.If I were breeding either of these females I would consider Jamie Rice's hound Branko's Geter Done or Pete Young and Terry Croley's hound Stoney Run Baba Diamond.
With your female I would also consider either Reggie or Thunder.
The Turbo and Ninja blood seems to have complimented each other in that cross.
Another way to go would be crossing your female to a male that is strong Haunted Hill Shaker blood.Jack Blum from Ontario had very good luck breeding Ninja bitches to Shaker.

I would find a male that is natural broke or easy to break off trash if your in to rabbit hunting.I found one ten years ago.The best thing I ve ever done in rabbit dogs in the 36 years of rabbit hunting.rabbitearl

I have a male that just turned two that has been naturally deer proof. He was never run with trashy dogs though. He is a double bred Syris Mcgee with some One Tough Ombre. He was telling on some criminals the other day. He did jump and run a fox last year, but he ran it right. To my knowledge he has not run one since.

I think a lot depends on how far your willing to drive or ship. Distance usually plays a big part. I would think you would like to keep the ability to jump or find rabbits that you claim your female does well. Maybe finding the best male jump dog would be a good idea just to not lose that ability ( cant run em if you cant find them). I would like to here from some folks like Chris Spall, Patterson, some judges that might give you some good advice from there experience. Chris has a dog that has done well and is close to home. I think Terry Mcbride was very hot on Greenbay Shooter and hes close to home. The best is if you got the time GO SEE THEM RUN. Dont go with flavor of the month..lol Then theres one of my favorites best kept secret..Kevin Johnsons Diamond dog littermate to Reggie and probably if records were kept has more rabbits shot over him then any dog living. King of the Coal Mines..

Tim Croley and I co-own FC Turbo Charged "Thunder" Blue. He is a good solid gun-dog that jumps his share of rabbits. He has had hundreds of rabbits shot to him in his life and has always been ready for more. We are still hunting him hard this year and has had approximately 40 killed to him already this year. Feel free to call me at 859-509-1724 and you can come down and hunt with us and watch him under the gun. We are hunting some good stuff this coming weekend. I think you will like what you see. Good luck with your decision. It's always a tough one and you will second guess yourself after it is too late.
I would also tell you that Jimmie Abshires'(Maple Valley on the board) dog (Junie) is one fine jumpdog. If you are looking for hunt, you can't go wrong with him.

If she were my bitch I'd also say she has plent of Branko in her and maybe try an out cross a go with IFC Green Shooter. He has also been bred to very few bitches and his numbers of dogs placing in trials is going to be big this year. Just with the number of dogs competing that I know of He has about 14 placers from SPO to Large pack. I have two Shooter dogs and they are both great gundogs as well. More hunt than you can ask for and the nose on them is grand!!! If Shooter is close I'd go there. Also I hear alot about this Junie and I don't know what his breeding is or anything about this dog but everything he is doing seems pretty impressive. I'd go watch both of these two run and breed to the one you like the best.

I have a nice 14 1/2 in male that would throw what you are looking for. Great jump dog, line control, check hound supreme with the brains to slow it down while running solo or in a pack. He is double Heli Prop on top and Hard Rock/Prices Branko Jill on bottom. He wasnt trialed cause I put most of the effort in his sister and anyone that has ran AKC Midwest can vouch that his 13in sister Juls Trail Bustin Hollie was one dominating bitch no matter if she ran against males or females. Would be willing to show him in field any time cause at 8 he still gets the job done under the gun.

well, i have been thinkin, makin call and getinn refrecences on each, i am between Shooter, freejack and ringo, i would like to stay 200 miles from the house, which i am 45 miles from louisville ky, only about an hour and ahalf from shooter, i wanna bred to something i think will suite me yet i dont wanna be left with pups, i am gonna keep 2....not in it for sellin pups but i only got so much room..... thank you guys a bunch this has been very helpful
