tiny why should competitors have to police :argue: size? Why doesn't ARHA do it? That's a minus for you. :bozo:

Your right Bobby, I still haven't figured out how to get a 17" hound under a 15" bar. For that he's a genius. Why don't you let us know how he does it. Perhaps someone who wrote the rule could tell us!! The dog is obviously a good dog and Jared is an upstanding individual. I hope he continues to have success with him, let's just be honest about what the dog is and let it lie.

The only thing I will say is I have never seen Jared get on this board and bad-mouth another man's dog. What some people say about his dog says a whole lot more about them, than it does about the dog.

All I will say is the last time I seen him was at Jackson's last AKC trial and the way he ran on the cast I was on he looked the best on the cast I thought he would win but he finished 3rd and while Jared and I were standing there waiting for the rest of the dogs so we could cast them I told him we had the smallest dogs on the cast so for all of you that think he is big, look around. I had a full 15" male and it looked like I brought a 13" male , knife to a gun fight so to speek.

Nice hound you have Jared hope he makes HOF.

I was just stating the rules. I didn't make them, just go by them. I wish ARHA would do it, but I think most of the time it would not matter. I have seen UKC trials with 16" hounds. UKC measures the hounds before the hunt. As many people have said, there are large dogs in AKC. Just run the dogs and let them settle the problems.

Sounds Like this dog must be pretty tuff. I'd stop cring about his size and go get some dog power.
