A lot of people are mad or upset cause they can't get a dog in the hall of fame in 15 entries! ........... I have been in beagles for a long time and been in little pack since 93 and still don't have a dog in the hall of fame and wished I did but I ain't gonna drink no haterade cause someone else has whooped alot of butt and put one in front of me. Like others have said who cares if he 16 in. or whatever he is and just run dogs. If the dog is over then he's over and to the ones who do care then measure him if you do draw the dog. The rules don't say to measure every dog in the hunt so then that makes it up to the handler to measure the dog! Don't get on here and cry about the dog just measure him if you draw him and if he measures out then maybe two others will do it and then he will be stripped of his achievements. Me I will never measure a dog. Now that said I don't run anything over 15 because my luck I would get to the finals and it would get measured out. But guys grow up and quit crying. Yea I have said the way I feel about Jarred but I can't take nothing away from what his dog has accomplished. I look at this way: I was recently at a hunt and felt like I was cheated by a judge. I judged the next round and guess who's dog I drew? The guy who just stuck it to me and I also drew someone I run dogs with. It was a close cast if I was a cheater I could of easily cheated. But the guy's who just judge me dog won! Oh well it will win on the scorecard everytime with me if that's the way it happened cause the dog can't help it he has a sorry :censored: owner. And thats the way I see the Jarred and Mr.Wilson situation. That being said surprisingly Jarred has judged my dogs right the last two times out. I hope he continues to judge my dog's fair cause thats all a man can ask for!

I have ran against big hounds and could care less. If that is the best hound that day, be it 16" or 12", then it should win. Most of us are trying to breed a dog that will rub the stick. Feed is better and unless you feed some walmart crap you are going to sometimes have a dog go over. I hunt a hound that pushes the bar, but I will guarntee it is no advantage. He is not fast and his size is a disadvantage in the thick brush. A 13 1/2" to 14" dog is better suited for the brush running here. 15" + is a disadvantage. I wonder how many people complaning have either had their plow cleaned by Mr. Wilson or just don't like Jared (seems like I seen a few posts about him here before . I'd let him run (would not protest), but as a breed inspector I would measure him truthfully if asked. The hound has to stand in it's normal pose, not cower down and not be posed. I dunno if he would go over, but I think he may be challenged at big hunts from now on by people that don't have a dog that could beat him.

he's natural stance is cower down you as a breed inspector can not pose him so how and the world do you think he will ever measure out

carn,
the facts are:
his natural stance at 13 monthes old was not to cower when brandon had him and you are incorrect when you say he has not measured out. he measured out at 3 trials that i know of, south ky, wurtland, ky and vermont bc. i have personally seen this dog carry a stand away that went to 16 1/4 inches. i was measuring him with brandon before he decided to sell him. i would honestly guess him (guess because i have never seen a stand that tall) to be around 16 3/4 to 17 1/4 inches based on how high he took the 16 1/4 inch stand. maybe he has shrunk a couple of inches since that time.

Gabe, I'm picking you up for being mouthy. How is this any of your business? :argue:

pick up brandon for low score ( not being smart enough to keep a outstanding hound when he had one)
Unless your the lead dog the view never changes

The only thing I found to be outstanding was his size and ability to show me where the rabbit came from! I guess if that is outstanding then I missed out. What are you running Bobby.... Tell your nephew Jared I said hello!

Trying to get under gabes skin, did you feel it? I heard that sharing of feelings sometimes happens with twins

Am I missing something here ? Why would you want a dog to show where the rabbit came from ?

brandon,
his knees seem to be fine now. heard he spent a good amount of time on them yesterday. he may now need to go to the ear, nose, and throat doctor.

A minus to ARHA  for setting on their hands and allowing this to continue. The Wilson dog on the cover of Rabbit Hunter :eyes: looked like a Walker I used to own.

I'd have sent you all back to the truck for arguing. The place for this is as the hounds are cast before a hunt, not here behind Jared's back. It doesn't hurt me or you a bit for him to run the hound, especially if you don't have a hound in the hunt. If you do, challenge the size. Other than that you are just trying to run someone through the mud. Way to go. Very sportsmanlike. You win a crusty cookie :loser: :bozo: :blackeye:
