so you mean to tell me if you saw the add and ordered and it came for free,you wouldnt keep it,your all a bunch of saints that would send it back or pay full price,now i find that hard to believe,hey,i did nothin wrong,it was givin to me by my uncle and how was he wrong,the price said 0.00,and he ordered it,and your saying that is stealing,come on man,aint no body perfect..............

so if your dog gets three checks but the judge scores you four,you goin to speak up and say somethin???????????

It was these statements I found to be somewhat dishonest

Obviously I'm not a saint, but I don't steal either. You said "IT HAD TO BE A TYPE ERROR" so you knew for a fact it was wrong but you didn't say anything. If you go to a store and buy something that costs $10 and pay with a $10 and the clerk gives you back $40 change do you just keep it?

I agree with everyone but to tell you the honest truth. Danny can do whatever he wants. They made a mistake and his uncle capitalized on it before the next guy decided to call the company and let them know that they had made a mistake. Im sure a few other people did it to so lets not all jump his case for doing what he did....I dont see why anyone should care. We wouldnt of done it, he did and hes the one thats gotta sleep with it not us so let him do his thing. The company will just right it off as a loss. And just not take his order next time

This reminds me of the time I went to Lowes and bought a tool that was suppose to be $89...when I got to the check out, they scanned my stuff, I had bought a couple of petty items as well...and told me a really low total....I paid and went to the truck. I started looking at receipt and found the computer was charging $1 for the $89 item and showing it as a donation to Jerry Lewis Telethon. I went in and bought another one, sure enough it was $1!!!

I didnt tell Lowes about it, but probably should have. I dont really consider that stealing....I paid for them so I didnt steal them. Now I probably wasnt very honest by not telling them......but I figure WTF, they are not really that honest to me when they charge me $80 a square for shingles that were $45 this spring......and blame it on oil that is now $65 a barrell

Box stores are just like the government....screw em if you can because you can rest assured they will screw you every chance they are given.

Believe it or not Danny, I would not try to take something from someone dishonestly, nor do I think most of the folks that are on this board would either. It most certainly isn't something to be proud of and shouting from the mountain tops. I don't see it as interesting as much as I see it as dishonest. It's unfortunate that some people see getting over on someone else as an achievement of which to be proud.

If it helps you to think everyone else is as dishonest as you are then keep that as your comfort even though it's just not true.
