ground kennel floor material

Post by jlboomer »

well i prefer above ground kennels but im fixing to do some major exspanding on my kennel and i figure for the budget that im wanting to spend ill be able to build nicer ground runs and i was wondering what everyone used in there kennels and whats the pros and cons.

Ive used gravel and its been ok with regular cleaning every other day or so. ive seen people use saw dust but i really don't know about that so any thoughts or ideas would really be appriciated thanks alot guys.

i use treated lumber , just like you would a deck , just down on the ground , then just set kennels down on them or build up from them , i love it , cleans easily , and good for them
