Patch, I enjoyed the trip.

It was very warm...I can't remember a time in 8 years of going up that it being this warm. Most October days in the past have been 50s day time and 30s at night. This trip it was high 60s and 70s day time ...40s -50s at night.

Bring lots of water and run them hard.

MIKE ---where were you at in the UP ---we hunted on the ISLAND had some real good runs shot a few --we also had a long run some one passing by in an auto said they were running a BOBCAT- - but we got all of them back in a couple hours --a couple of them didn't go --sure is good music when running a HARE for an hour or so with no brake downs ---it sounds like a deer race around here

Good grief ! I think winters here. Heading up tomorrow night... Saw a fellow up there the last two years trying to trap that bobcat.
