Yea the hare the hounds were running crossed the big road ( a mile from where we started it ) and he got hit by a truck. I've hunted off the Quarry haul road for years and never had a hare cross the big road. I guess there's a first time for everything. If that male is still available I'll take it. I didn't talk to Dick before I left but my brother lives on the Island and I'm sure he's told him by now.That put a big damper on my whole week, I even came home early but I know what my dad would have done. so I regrouped and made plans to go back up. I got some friends comming from NY. and their really looking foreward to running.

The dog that got killed is the one that is in front of my left leg in my signature picture. His name was Berrypatch Boney. His sire was Shildt's Dusty Patch and his dam was Wilsons-Rock The Top Crystal. He was a good one ane he will be greatly missed.

Yea, Do you think he will get as tall as 15" I know it's hard to tell when they are young how big they will get but after a while you kinda get the feel for it. right.
