Very few snakes. We been running these grounds for over 20 yrs and we have had 2 dogs bit. We have seen one snake during a trial and it was a black snake. I can't garuntee nothing but I believe you will be ok.

If you go and place at this club its because your hound proved himself in running abiltiy not hunting and handleing. Great club Eddie and Terry has got going in their first year.
Thanks Rocky Top, I haven't been to trial in a long time and I would like to find a good one to join, I have been watching the hunt results and i noticed that it is not the same one's winning everytime ( except the grands ) like I see in some of the other hunt results.

Like i said its a very good club in my opinion. I have always liked this boys and will stand behind them all the way through.
Sandy Gap Beagle Club one of best and only where you get to see a Chicken hawk dog stand up flop his two front legs and fly away. Only thing i got to say is when the going gets tuff watch out for the sholves? HA HA HA

I was also curious about handlers. Me and my brother are coming with 2 dogs if they both get cast out at same time will I have trouble finding someone to handle 1 of the dogs. I could but I have some torn ligaments in my knee it is hard for me to even walk.

Not 100% sure that I am going but if it draws in my cast I don't mind handling yours or anyones. And I am sure there will be several people there that will help out if needed.

You shouldn't have any trouble getting someone to handle your dog.

Don't worry about a handler they are usually a few young guys around that like to go out and handel dogs.
Becareful and don't let backyard handel one of them if it's a prety good hound he'll claim it as his own since he don't have hound power of his own. LOL
