had an old grade female give to me about ten years ago that was the same way , the first few times out she drove me nuts , guess she knew the difference cause sometimes she would cold trail for awhile and then move on , other times you couldnt get her off it, left her barking and moved on a few times but my brother was more patient with her and she would eventualy get it up and moving, lol , let my brother shoot it when it circled , figured it was only right , hunted with her for 3 more seasons before she passed on and was a absolute ball to hunt with , was the nicest pace and most relaxing rabbit hunting i ever done, one day we killed 11 rabits by noon off her but most days we would kill every rabbit she would run ( 3 or 4 ) , we knew she ran a good rabbit and my brother always said , since he couldn't smell a rabbit he would just have to trust her, lol
