Diggy is fast and is an excellant check dog. He hunts hard and gets his share of jumps. His speed and check work are his best attributes. The only thing I didn't like about him was his mouth, kind of a squeeling chop. You can definately here it and pick him out of a pack just not a what you'd expect out of him. Overall nice hound. I've seen a couple nice young hounds out of him to.
Dry Creek Kennel-Bred to get it done where it counts the most "under the gun".

thanks for the compliments on diggy..........he has a mouth that is a true one of a kind, if you will go and shock one of your dogs take the squall that you hear and make it a little bit finer and thats his mouth, i actually love it because not only is it different but you can always pick him, i have had him out with about 15 dogs and not just me other poeple that dont know his mouth can pick him, he has a great big nose and uses it correktly, his foot speed is unbelievable, he has really good line control for a young dog that has his speed, he is a hunting machine, he has no regaurds for his body, everytime i run him not only will his sides comeback bloody but the other dogs that where running behind him will to, also he will retrieve rabbits when you kill them, he is a great gentleman in the kennel, he will absoulutly check your brains out, believe me he does it to my big branko male all day long, the only time another dog will kinda get the best of him is if that dog has speed that is an 8 or better and gets him in the open but when it comes to thick stuff watch out, if i am running my hounds and i jump 10 rabbits he will jump 5-6 of them every day all day, he is by in no way perfect but a pretty nice hound that has been bred a few times and what i have heard hi pups have been pretty decent, doesnt mean that it was all him and had nothing to do with the female, but out of all the litters i think he has had good reports on his pups, he just turned 3 and i just bred himn for my first time, he was bred at a very young age back in indianan, i have 14 week old pups out of him and a spade/ chester , pacesetter bitch. the bitch i bred hin to was staight off osbournes spade and is a grandpup to ifc takarab pacesetter, they are the biggest pups ive ever seen for there ages, but the female is a full 15, but overall he is a nice hound and i really enjoy having him, i think he was bought from branko krpan as a 1 to 1 1/2 old running dog from what i have gathered, ive never had a deer or any trash problem with him at all he has been turned out on deer 10 feeet from himn and also has been pressure turned meaning i had about 6 pups stroking a deer and i cut him aloose and he went to them and came back to me and laid down at my feet and them went across the road and started soloing a rabbit, i think he has 2 wins towards his grand in ukc, i have never ran him in that i have only ran him in little pack and akc midwest this fall, i guess his best thing is his speed/drive, check work and good line control, his hunt is more like a bird dog, by that he may not clean every thickett in the area but he will keep going to he jumps, handles great, i have him with a male they eat sleep and ride togeather, never seen him even think about fighting or anthing like that, also i have seen him numerous times when other dogs start to not give up on a check but get a little wide he will stay tight and line it out, there is no quit in this dog, none what so ever, he has been in about 7 trials he has a 2nd,4th,5th,and 9th, 2 of the 7 where the virginal state where he scored 160 and finished 2nd in his cast and at the kentucky state and we really did have great running it was mainly baby rabbits but thats no excuse he just didnt do anything that day and another was a club hunt that my other male won he didnt do no good in it either, he is a consistent dog, i really like him and he does way more good things then bad, ive heard that this female is pretty quick and is nice and clean sounds a little bit like her daddy, he is still young and time will tell on him he is being braced and soloed right now, but overall he is a real nice hound to get the chance to own and hunt, i have pups out of him and that bitch up on the board i have a female and 2 males left, if you want to know anything else about him then please feel free to call me anytime at 606-337-6050 or 606-302-3854 ask for chris call anytime and ill answer any moe questions you have. thanks again for the compliments about him
