amanda, you might try looking on beaglesforsale.com and look for one of charles' adds, it will have his number there. he lives over in richmond and works for uk.
Just Call Me RJ was owned by Donnie Howard of Berea, Ky. I think he got him from a man named I believe Doug Pigg. He was a gray/blue color dog between 14"--15" and was a grand-son to Jigs Maggies Mate and had excellant hunt with no bottom. One of the hardest hunting dogs that I ever saw but didn't have blazing speed probably upper medium but had good line control. He was trialed some and I heard he did good but Donnie stopped trialing him before he championed out. He is dead now. Bradley's Prissy Girl is now owned by a man named Terry Griesinger who lives in the north-eastern part of Ky. Her call name is Coonie. I raised her and she can flat run a rabbit with line control and speed. There was a post on one of the boards with a fellow talking about Terry turning down $1000.00 for her. I trained her to wait until I was ready to hunt before she would even leave the truck. While the other dogs jump out and run all over the place she would just wait for me to say "Let's go Connie" before she would start hunting. She is not the hardest hunting dog but she will jump her share and 90% of the time she is leading the pack when they bring the rabbit around and she does it right. Terry phone # is (859) 635-3372. Call him and ask him about her. I only trialed her once and she took NBQ and I wouldn't run her any more because when the rabbit goes to a hole she will come back to you and sat down until you say let's go even if the other dogs are still mouthing around on the rabbit after it holed and the judges would say she was quitting but she was usually the one that marked the hole and she new the race was over. She has a head full of sense and does not run off game. Sorry for rambling on but that is one I should have let die at my house. Both RJ and Coonie were local dogs and gun dogs deluxe, they are not names you will hear around the trialing world but Coonie will put meat on your table and run the rabbit the right way.
