Maybe McD's thinks it can do good things to help cover up the bad things. :ashamed:

Ive always read that its a real bad practice for a businesses to get involved in politics. What is it that's driving company's like McDonalds, Ford, ATT, etc to get so involved. I cant believe the board of trustees allow there companies to get involved in all this.

Some of you have touched on it, but we have a presidential candidate that has proclaimed publicly that the US is "no longer a Christian nation". That he will change the regulations to allow gay/lesbians to openly serve in the military. Allow partial birth abortions. Allow young girls to have abortions without parental consent. The first item on his agenda as president is to gather all the Arab nations together for "talks". The fortunate thing is, ' He's still on the Throne ' and no one is going to remove him. The worst is yet to come. And to think our education system is telling us that its all evolving for the better? :annoyed:

No matter how well intentioned the Ronald Mc Donald's house is...

Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

How can you believe in God and serve him and at the same time support (either actively or covertly) a homosexual agenda. The Bible is blatently clear about how wrong "sexual immorality" is and even defines it. Leviticus 18:22 Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. Now you can't have your cake and ice cream and eat it too if what one hand does is right and the other one does wrong.

Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

Mickey D's seems to be trying to do both here, but it just won't work out. Hopefully, they will see the error of their ways and correct their mistakes so we can all go back to enjoying our Big Mac's.
Be ye kind one unto another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32

It does not suprise me that Mcdonalds has taken this route , A friend of mine worked for Mcdonalds while in school and was suspended for a week without pay for saying grace with a few other employees during their lunch break . He was told that they held nothing against him for his faith in the lord but he would have to leave his faith at the time clock and he could pick it back up when his shift was over..
