LOOKING FOR 14" TO 15" BLUETICK STUD HOUND

...on the ancestry of your new hound? This is your forum. Post your question and others will fill in the blanks for you. This is also a good forum for asking about particular hounds and bloodlines (past or present) when considering a breeding or purchase, or just breeding questions in general.

Different stroks for different folks I guess huh Jimmy? I'm just glad there is so many different syles of hounds to suit so many different people!!!!!!

Nor'Easter actually I prefer the faster hound. However I'll sacrifice the foot for a hound that ran run the line. Needless to say whether fast or slow, the hound should be looking for loss at the check rather than the next county. Many don't have the patience and concentration to work at point of loss, thus they automatically swing out gambling to find the loss. I don't want a dog to die in the check area, but he/she should have enough brains to look where they lost it rather than swinging to find it. If their owners like that so be it, just I don't.

What's that Sullivan's Go Joe like, maybe not enough bluetick for ya, but the dogs in his ped. are exactly what your looking for. The were EXCEPTIONAL hounds. Too far away now for us up here to get to him.

Early on in this post Hicksters Intimidator was mentioned that he was not a true bluetick, and it had been a while since I had seen him and when I had seen him I guess I really never paid attention, anyways I was over there tonight checkin out the old boy and Im here to tell you there is no other way to describe him other than a blue tick,he is ticked form head to tail so I dont know what pictures the gentlemen had seen but apparently he has never seen him in person.Granted he is almost all grey now but you can still see every tick from head to tail
good dogs run on good days, great dogs run when u take them out

TC... My loss? Not really since as I noted in my original post I was looking for an OPEN MARKED bluetick. I'm not in search of a BLANKET BACK hound. Thanks anyhow...
