I like all the Branko dogs that have been mentioned, but I have a 2 year old male pup out of Warlock that is doing exceptionally well. Here is a picture of my Warlock male.

We had a bitch that died last fall that was my favorite. She was out of Lumberjack and Ladybird. At 10 yrs old she won a Large Pack Hare trial in Wisconsin with 42 entries. We only had 2 litters from her and both were good. We bred her once to Denny Dugan's Mystery Man and 1 time to IFC Grennwells Reggie. The reggie pups have been better.

How many of you guys have actually seen some of these older dogs you're talking about? Kind of hard to say you like or dislike when you haven't seen them wouldn't you say? Hmm maybe some of those ladies throwing them traits you like as well.

Of the Branko hounds I've personally saw, I like Branko's Kasey and Branko's Flashback. However my favorite happens to be Branko's Getter Done!

I've seen some of the dogs mentioned run but not the older ones.

The best I've ever personally seen on the ground hands down was IFC Branko's Dirty Pond Laika. No matter what I'd throw at her she'd teach them a lesson, two, or three. Incredible nose power, brains, and check work. The tougher it got the more she'd carry the rest of a pack. She's one hound I never seen doubt or second quess herself. She knew she was right and... she was.

We have Branko's Evergreen Stormy here (same cross as FC Branko's Flashback) she's a personal favorite of mine. Ton of desire, hunt and intelligence. She's been a proven reproducer with the ability to throw her traits across the entire litter everytime. I was told she ruined a dog in upstate NY last winter pushing him too hard on the snow. :whip:

Out of all the Branko hounds I've seen and Owned from Branko's kennels Branko's Evergreen Stormy is by far the best. She is a fine rabbit hound, not real fast but she can run a rabbit right, good jump dog, hunts hard,or at least the last time I hunted with her she was a good one at that time and my favorite. Shes out of Ali Baba and Good Golly Miss Molly I belive, and Molly was out of Prop.

Branko's Sky High was a good one. He was out of Jack of all trades and I do not remember the female. He cam directly from Branko's kennel. Would be considered medium/fast for today's trials. But he ran the rabbit right the times I saw him on the ground.
