TC & JC ... I am SO terribly sorry to hear this
I know it's not any consolation, but years ago there was a group of ladies on another Beagle board who swore that when a Beagle dies, sometimes they come back for one last visit as a butterfly. I thought it was crazy for years, until last year we lost a little bitch. There are no butterflies in the Bronx. Haven't been any since I was a kid, and even then it ws a rare find. Well wouldn't you know the day after she died this one small butterfly came and landed about an inch away from the pup we had out of her. She kept coming back to our yard, every single day, until I finally asked the butterfly if it was Millie, our Beagle bitch. We never saw the butterfly again ... The point is, they NEVER leave us
