Drontal Plus wormer

I just ordered some Prazivet plus (generic Drontal plus) from a med company overseas. I recieved 120 tablets for 69.00 (includes shipping) which is a very good price considering some places are selling the Drontal for 4.50 a pill. 1 pill will treat a 22lb dog for rounds,hooks,whips and tapes. This came in a very professional package and has an expiration date in 2010. If anyone is interested in the site here it is.

I figured as much which is why I wanted to post this. Shipping is a 10.00 flat rate so, ordering 120 is the same shipping as 20 on shipping. Get together with some buddies and order some. ;-) mine came in less than 1 weeks time.

Dang, that is a good price. I ordered paratak plus ...100 pills.... I believe it was $150 with shipping and everything. YOu got a much better deal. I will have to go that route next time. How often do you administer this??? I have my hounds on a 3 month cycle.

This recommends routine treatment every 3 months as well. This will last me a good long time ;-)

I have tried 4 times, to order this product from the link you posted. I have been declined with an error comment of "Blocked (R)". I called my credit card company and they don't show any attempted transactions and they even walked me through the last attempt. Can someone tell me why I can't order this??? That is a good price for Praziquantel

120 tabs x 50 mg per tab = 6,000 mg or 6 grams of Prazi

$69/6 grams = $11.50 per gram of prazi


A 6 gram tube of Equimax has 6 x 14.03% = 0.84 grams prazi and costs about 14 dollars

$14/0.84 = $16.67 per gram of prazi

Their website seems to be a little fussy but if I ever get on again I will order some myself.

quick question....is this labeled for sale in the USA? I know some of the generic animal medications made over seas are not all they say they are. Here is one example:
5 ML Eprinex has the same % of Ivermectin as some other imported Ivermectins. Price of Eprinex (a pour on cattle wormer) is $295. The generic is $55 for the same amount. This is a huge price difference! Virginia Tech did a study last fall on 3 kinds of generic versus the Eprinex. They found that 2 of the 3 overseas generic were not the same percentage and also contained "a contaminate" in them as well. The one that passed was made in the UK. The two that failed were made in Brazil and Indonesia. Just wanted to throw that in there that some times we have to be careful as the US tests evrything that is sold alot better than foreign companies. That is why imported medication for humans is illegal (saw it on Dateline, bad stuff there). Most is probably safe, just know the company and make sure you test for worms.

Good point, Mike, and on their site it does not mention that the tabs contain pyrantel pamoate which is in Drontal Plus. That is the drug for hook, round and whip but I think the praziquantel may have some effect on those too. It could well be the stuff is not what it is supposed to be, only way to know is have it lab tested.
