You nailed it to a tee, Chad. I wasn't aware you watching and not playing. We had a blast. You boys from Ky. are basketball freaks. Until next time, keep those shoe strings tied and the team together.

Glad everyone seems to have had a good time at the hunt.

Thanks for coming to support our club. A special thanks to everyone who helped out by judging, we have a few spots that are rough and a few spots that are steep, and a few more that are rough and steep  .

When you have 15 or so people playin, a game of CAT takes a long time!!

By the time we had played a couple games, there were a few people who couldnt make it from right under the goal!

Sounds like a good time.

What's the website that was used to handle this event? I'd like to look at it and bookmark it for the future.

Is it possible to show up and get my dog started on a rabbit? Is there an "Intro to Field Trialing" anywhere? Do they have some training seminars and such at these events? How do newbies get involved? It's not like one can attend an NRA Basic Beagling class anywhere. In fact, it's been really difficult just finding a place to start him. Frankly, if guns were as difficult as this, I'd never have started shooting.

The last thing I want to do is run out and spend $350 on a Tri-Tronics setup, shock the dog, and cause him to never step off the sidewalk again.

Where are you located ? Maybe someone in your area could show you the ropes. I was lucky and had a fellow that let me follow him around to learn the basics.
Where's the earth shattering kaboom ?
