He was a once in lifetime dog, Most people on this board have no idea what an excepional dog is,I would love to have a kennel full of his puppies right now.Thats all I have to say about Ali-Baba and anyone who thinks this dog was garbage or threw garbage is a FOOL!

BCM,

I believe you. I spoke to Branko and Paul Pazienza about six or seven years ago and they both said that Baba was the BEST dog that Branko ever had...

bill, just think of it this way. You have an unpopular opinion at the moment. Been there a lot. Doesn't mean you're wrong -- opinions are never wrong. They just may not jive with the majority. Been there a lot, too. ;)

I have a granddaughter and wouldn't trade her for all the money in the world. She never ran thrash, stays close on a check, is a great jump dog, and has a great personality. Her pups are coming along just fine and they have all made me very happy. It would be a blessing to get another Ali-Baba grandchild.

I have a granddaughter of Ali-Baba, her sire is Baba Cowboy and I wouldn’t want to hit the woods without her I know that. She really shines in tough tough conditions and is a great snowhound for 2 years of age. Too smart for her own good at times, which can make her look foolish but more times than not it’s her that works the tough ones to keep runs alive. This blood may not be for everyone but I love it, she’s got endless hunt and drive, just a gritty little hound who always finishes the day more banged up than the rest. She handles like a bird dog to boot, I love this blood and can’t wait to breed her next year. Maybe back to the man himself?

In one of my dogs pedigrees there's a dog named "Branko's Ali-Bi Baba". Is this a son of "Ali Baba"? When I bought the dog, the seller told me it was "out of Ali Baba". I'm not much on pedigrees, I run the dog, not the papers, so it was no big deal--still isn't, I was just curious.
