Rescued dog killin me

Post by Beagle Bill »

I took a Christmas beagle puppy for a friend who said the dog was not working working out. It is six months old next week. It was a house dog only put outside on a leash to use the bathroom. I have had it for two and a half weeks and she still whines and howls in the kennel. Luckily she does not howl after dark! I have tried working with her on this but it still takes an hour for her to settle down when I put her and the other dogs up ( I have a fenced in area for exersise ). I have not put her in a starting pen yet because I wanted to get her used to me first. Any suggestions would be appriciated.
