Does anyone know who owns Jake now the last I heard he was around Detroit, MI if any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am pretty sure you are correct. He is in the Detroit area. The person who bought him is just a rabbit hunter, not a trialer. I do not know anything about the man ,but I have ran with the dog on many occasions. Brian.
